Install Tooling (B) into two mounting holes in the frame.Note: Make sure that the mating surfaces of the speed reducer and the frame are clean and free of dirt.
Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket to the flange of the frame.

Fasten Tooling (A), a hoist, and lifting straps to speed reducer (7). The weight of the speed reducer and travel motors is 1000 kg (2200 lb).Note: Make sure that the drive shaft is aligned with the speed reducer.
Position the speed reducer on the machine. Use Tooling (B) in order to align the speed reducer with the flange.

Install bolts (10) .
Remove Tooling (B) .
Position bracket (8) on the spacer. Install bolt (9) .
Tighten bolts (10) and bolt (9) in a crisscross pattern.

Install hose clamp (6) on the hoses. Install the washers and bolts (5) .

Connect hose (4) .
Connect hoses (3) .

Check the oil level in the speed reducer.ReferenceRefer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Final Drive Oil Level - Check" for the correct filling procedure.

Apply a thin coat of 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on the drive shaft.
Install drive shaft (7). The weight of the drive shaft is 30 kg (66 lb).
