627E, 637E ScrapersDescription of Change: New transmission discs are used in the planetary groups. Changes have been made to provide increased service life. The new disc has a sunburst (diamond) pattern which is larger than the previously used to reduce fatigue and wear.Adaptable To: The new 8E2477 Disc replaces the former 9W7089 Disc. The new disc is used in the No. 6 clutch in the tractor transmissions and in the No. 3 and No. 4 clutches in the scraper transmissions. The new disc is effective with transmission serial numbers 3TE1012, 3KB777 and 3HB502. The new disc is adaptable to earlier transmissions. Do not mix new and former discs. Continue to use 9W7089/6Y9808 Disc in No. 2, 5 and 7 clutches in the tractor transmission and No. 1 and 2 in the scraper transmission. The 9W7089 Disc has been canceled and replaced by 6Y9808 Disc.
