(5) High-idle engine speed select dialThe remote control system always starts the machine in low idle.
Use the Engine High/Low Idle button on the left side of the Operator Console to change between high idle and low idle.
Use the High-Idle Engine Speed dial (5) to adjust to a steady engine speed when the tractor is in high idle.
Engine Deceleration lever (1) is a proportional control. Engine Deceleration lever is used to slow the engine speed temporarily from the value that is set by using the High-Idle Engine Speed dial (5).
The Service Brake lever (2) is a proportional control that is used to slow the tractor speed temporarily.Note: The Engine Deceleration lever (1) and the Service Brake lever (2) provide the same function in either direction.Implements
Operating the Ripper
Refer to Illustration 6 for ripper control.

Implement control
(8) Blade pitch / ripper AutoStow or AutoRip control knob
(9) Implements control
Place the Implement Select switch (4) in the backward/ripper position.
To retract the ripper shank in, Push the Implement control (8) toward left
To extend the ripper shank out, push the Implement control (8) toward right
To raise the ripper, Pull the Implement control (8) backward
To lower the ripper, push the Implement control (8) forwardOperating the Blade

Place the Implement Select switch (4) in the forward/ blade position.
To Raise the blade, Pull the Implement control (8) backward
To Lower the blade, Push the Implement control (8) forward
To tilt the blade counterclockwise (as viewed from inside the cab), Push the Implement control (8) left
To tilt, the blade clockwise (as viewed from inside the cab), Push the Implement control (8) right
The pitch is controlled with the Implement control knob (8).
To pitch the blade back, Rotate the Implement control knob (8) to the left
To pitch the blade forward, Rotate the Implement control knob (8) to the right

(30) Blade float enabled indicatorBlade Float may be used from the console.
To Enable Blade Float Function, press the Blade Float select button (6) at the same time while the Implement control (9) is pushed to the full forward position. The Blade Float indicator (30) will light up to indicate that the machine is in Blade Float mode, then center the Implement control
To disengage the Blade Float function, pull the Implement control (9) backwardsOperating the Winch
