2. Put identification on the five air lines and unions. Disconnect five air lines (1) and (2) from the relay valve. 3. Remove three nuts (3) and the scraper brakes relay valve.Install Scraper Brakes Relay Valve
1. Put scraper brake relay valve (1) in position on the studs and install the nuts that hold it in place. 2. Connect the five air lines to the relay valve in their original position.Disassemble Scraper Brakes Relay Valve
start by:a) remove scraper brakes relay valve 1. Remove three bolts (2) and cover (1) from body. Remove spring (13) and two washers (8).2. Remove screw, washer, and diaphragm (16) from cover.3. Remove spring (15), and check valve (14) from cover.4. Remove snap ring (7).5. Remove valve (6). Remove valve assembly (12).6. Remove four bolts (3) that hold cover (4) to body (10). Remove cover and spring (5) from the body. Remove piston (9) for service brake from cover.7. Remove piston (11) from body.Assemble Scraper Brakes Relay Valve
1. Check all O-rings for damage. Replace O-rings if needed.2. Install the piston assembly (4) in the body.3. Install the piston (1) and O-ring in the cover.4. Put the spring (3) and cover (2) in position on the body and install four bolts that hold it.5. Install valve (5) in the cover.6. Install valve assembly (6) in the piston. Install the snap ring that holds the valve assembly into the piston.7. Install spring and check valve (7) on the cover. Install diaphragm (9), washer, and screen on the cover.8. Put washers and spring (8) in position on the body.9. Put the cover in position on the bottom of the body and install the three bolts that hold it.end by:a) install scraper brakes relay valve
