START BY:a. remove air tank **This operation is in the Vehicle Systems Disassembly And Assembly section.1. Drain the fuel tank below the level of the fuel lines. 2. Disconnect fuel lines (1) and (2) from the fuel tank. 3. Remove nut (4), and disconnect the wire assembly from the sender assembly.4. Remove two bolts (5) and the washers. Remove channel (3) from the fuel tank. 5. Put tooling (A) and wooden blocks (7) in position under the fuel tank as shown.6. Remove four bolts (6) and the washers that hold the tank in place. If necessary, raise the rear of the machine to provide clearance for the fuel tank to be lowered and removed from under the machine.7. Use tooling (A), and remove fuel tank (8) from the machine. The weight of the tank is 82 kg (181 lb.).Install Fuel Tank
If necessary, raise the rear of the machine to provide clearance for the fuel tank to be moved under the machine and raised into position.1. Use tooling (A) and wooden blocks (2) to put fuel tank (1) in position under the machine. 2. Install four bolts (3) that hold fuel tank (1) in place.3. Remove tooling (A) and the wooden blocks from under the machine. 4. Put channel (4) in position on the fuel tank, and install the washers and bolts (6) that hold it in place.5. Put the wire assembly in position on the sender assembly, and install nut (5). 6.
