Disconnect hose assembly (9).

Disconnect hose assemblies (10).

Disconnect harness assembly (11) and remove the connecting hardware. Disconnect hose assemblies (12).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position hose assemblies (13) out of the way.

Attach two suitable lifting devices onto fore boom cylinder (14). Remove bolt (15). Use Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device in order to remove pin assembly (16). Remove shims (17) and the spacers. Note: Note the quantity and the order of shims (17).Note: The shims and spacers can fall when the pin assembly is removed.

Disconnect hose assembly (18).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto stub boom cylinder (19). Remove bolts (20), plate (21), and shims (22). Note: Note the quantity and the order of shims (22).
Repeat Step 12 through Step 13 for the remaining stub boom cylinder.

Use Tooling (C) in order to drive pin (23) inward. Disconnect stub boom cylinder (19) from pin (23). Remove shims (24). Repeat this step for the remaining stub boom cylinder. Note: Note the order and the quantity of shims (24).
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device in order to position stub boom cylinder (19) out of the way. Repeat this step for the remaining stub boom cylinder.
Do not remove pin (23) at this time.

Attach two suitable lifting devices onto fore boom (25). The weight of fore boom (25) is approximately 669 kg (1475 lb). Use Tooling (C) and two people in order to remove pin (23). The weight of pin (23) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove shims (26). Remove fore boom (25). Note: Note the quantity and the order of shims (26).

Position fore boom (25) onto suitable blocking.

Remove lip seal (27). Remove bearing (28). Remove lip seal (29). Repeat this step for the remaining bearing and lip seals.

Use Tooling (E) in order to remove bearing (29). Repeat this step for the remaining bearing.
