Start By:a. remove main drive shaft Approximately 129 liters of power train oil will be drained in Steps 1 and 2.1. Remove plug (5) and drain the power train oil from the main case and frame. Install plug (5) after all of the oil has been drained.2. Loosen the bolts that hold suction screen cover (6) in place and drain the remainder of the oil from the transmission. Tighten the bolts after all of the oil has been drained.3. Remove four bolts (2), the seventeen bolts, and cover (4). Remove adapter (1) from the sleeves.4. Remove the four bolts and flanges (3) that hold the control cables in place. Disconnect the control cables from the priority valve and pull them out of the way. 5. Remove yoke (7).6. Remove six bolts (8). Use forcing bolts and remove the retainer and O-ring seal. 7. Remove the final drive cover and use tooling (A) to remove outer axle (9) and the inner axle from each side of the machine. 8. Remove the panel that goes across the rear of fuel tank (10).9. Remove the small cover on the transmission and install tooling (B). Attach a hoist to tooling (B).
Four bolts (12) hold the transmission cover and the bevel gear case together. Do not remove four bolts (12).
10. Remove twenty two bolts (11). 11. The weight of the transmission and bevel gears is 864 kg (1900 lb). Use forcing bolts and separate the transmission from the transmission and bevel gear case. Use the hoist and slowly pull the transmission and bevel gears from the case. The transmission and bevel gears will roll out on the tube assemblies.
