HEAD 0029080 - Caterpillar

Install 6 7D-4512 Taperlock Studs (10). Tighten the studs to 400 60 N m (295 44 lb ft).
Install 4 7D-3504 Taperlock Studs (9). Tighten the studs to 226 20 N m (167 15 lb ft).
Position the counterweight on studs (4) and (6) with a suitable lifting device.
Install 6 5D-4661 Hard Washers (8) and 6 2J-3507 Full Nuts (6) on studs (10). Tighten the nuts to 1050 150 N m (774 110 lb ft).
Install 4 7X-0521 Hard Washers (12) and 4 2J-3506 Full Nuts (5) on studs (9). Tighten the nuts to 430 60 N m (317 44 lb ft).
Position 7B-0863 Pin Latch (2) in the bracket on the counterweight. Install 7X-3193 Bolt (13) in the bracket. Install 2k-4821 Locknut (7) on the bolt. 354-8102 Counterweight and Mounting Gp

Note: The mounting group is a bolt on application. Torques that are not standard are noted below.Note: The weight of 354-8102 Counterweight and Mounting Gp is approximately 1724 kg (3800 lb). Use a proper lifting device in order to install the counterweights.

Install 10 7T-5790 Taperlock Studs (10). Tighten the studs to 750 80 N m (553 59 lb ft).
Position the counterweight on studs (10) with a suitable lifting device.
Install 10 7X-0533 Hard Washers (11) and 10 7H-7539 Full Nuts (9) on studs (10). Tighten the nuts to 2100 250 N m (1549 184 lb ft).
Position 7B-0863 Pin Latch (2) in the bracket on the counterweight. Install 7X-3193 Bolt (12) in the bracket. Install 2k-4821 Locknut (7) on the bolt.
