Install piston assembly (15) in the pump housing.

Install spring (12) and piston (13) in pump housing (6).
Install port plate (14) onto head assembly using 6V-2055 Grease.
Install piston guides (9) and (10) in head assembly (5). Tighten piston guides (9) and (10) to a torque of 200 20 N m (148 14 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (7) and O-ring seals (8) in head assembly (5).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install head assembly (5) to pump housing (6). Install bolts (4) in head assembly (5) and pump housing (6). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 430 43 N m (317 30 lb ft).

Install actuator assemblies (3) and bolts (2) onto steering pump assembly (1). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 7 1 N m (62 9 lb in).End By:
