Diesel engine exhaust contains products of combustion which may cause personal injury.Always start and operate the engine in a well ventilated area, and, if in an enclosed area, vent the exhaust to the outside.
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Personal injury can result from rotating and moving parts.Moving fan blades and moving parts will throw or cut any object or tool that falls or is pushed into them.Make sure no one is working on, underneath or close to an engine that is running. Make sure the area is free of personnel.
Introduction
Use this check to determine if the two speed motor is shifting in and out of propel travel mode correctly. If the two speed motor is not shifting between work and travel modes, the machine will not perform properly.Machine Preparation

Move engine start switch (1) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.

Press throttle switch (2) once to the place the engine in high idle. Engine speed should be 2200 50 rpm.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is at high idle. First, the engine rpm will appear on machine display (3). Second, an indicator light next to the throttle switch will illuminate.
Operate the engine at high idle. Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on machine display (3). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 40° C (104° F).Check Procedure
Note: Perform this check in a large open area.

Press travel mode switch (5) in order to turn off the propel travel mode. When the propel travel mode has been deactivated, the indicator light next to the travel mode switch will go out. Back up the machine far enough to allow the machine to reach full speed before the start line.
Press cruise control speed decrease switch (4) in order to place the machine cruise speed to the MINIMUM position. When the cruise speed is at minimum, only one indicator light next to the cruise control speed decrease switch will be illuminated.

If necessary, move parking brake switch (7) to the OFF position.
If necessary, move propulsion lever (6) to the full FORWARD position.

Press cruise control speed increase switch (8). Increase speed to 50 percent of the maximum range.
After the machine speed has stabilized, press travel mode switch (5) in order to turn on the propel travel mode. When the propel travel mode has been activated, the indicator light next to the travel mode switch will be illuminated. Verify that the machine speed increases.
After the machine speed has stabilized, press travel mode switch (5) in order to turn off the propel travel mode. When the propel travel mode has been deactivated, the indicator light next to the travel mode switch will go out. Verify that the machine speed decreases.
Move the machine to an
