Parking Brake
Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless the primary service brake fails. The use of the parking brake as a service brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the brake system.
Parking Brake - The parking brake is a function of the transmission control lever. The parking brake is to be used after the machine has been stopped. Parking Brake Engaged - Push the lever down and move the lever forward, to the center front position, to engage the parking brake. Release the lever and the parking brake will remain engaged. Parking Brake Disengaged - Push the lever down and pull back to release the parking brake. Release the lever and the parking brake will remain disengaged.Service Brake Pedal
Service Brake Pedal - The service brake pedal is located on the floor of the operator's station, at the left of the accelerator pedal. The service brake pedal slows down the machine ground speed for normal braking.Depress the brake pedal for normal machine braking.Release the pedal to release the brake.Transmission Modulator Pedal
Transmission Modulator Pedal - The transmission modulator is located on the floor of the operator's station, at the left of the operator's steering console. The transmission modulator pedal disengages the power to the wheels.Depress the transmission modulator pedal when starting, stopping and changing direction of the machine.Release the pedal to re-engage the power to the wheels. Use the transmission modulator pedal to inch the machine.Accelerator Pedal
Accelerator Pedal - The accelerator pedal is located on the floor of the operator's station, at the right of the service brake pedal.Push down the pedal to increase ground speed.Release the pedal to decrease ground speed.Decelerator Pedal
Decelerator pedal - The decelerator pedal is located on the floor of the operator's station, at the right front of the seat.Push down on the pedal to decrease the engine speed below the throttle hand control setting. Hold the pedal down for de-acceleration.R Release the pedal and the engine will return to the throttle control setting.Throttle Control
Throttle Control - The hand throttle control is located on the right side of the transmission control console.Push the throttle control lever forward to decrease the engine speed. The lever will remain in this position when released.Pull the throttle control lever back to increase the engine speed. The lever will remain in this position when released.Transmission Direction and Speed Control
Direction Selector
Forward (1) - Move the transmission control lever to the left and pull back to the desired forward speed. The machine will move Forward.1 - First Speed2 - Second Speed3 - Third Speed4 - Fourth Speed5 - Fifth Speed6 - Sixth Speed7 - Seventh Speed8 - Eighth Speed Neutral (2) - The machine should not move when transmission control lever is in Neutral. Reverse (3) - Move the transmission control lever to the right and pull back to the desired speed.
