Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: M.C.S. regulated engines are equipped with check valves which allow specific pressure sensors to be removed while the engine remains in operation.

Disconnect wiring harness assembly (3).
Remove primary filter base inlet fuel pressure sensor (2). Inspect check valve (1) for leaks. Replace as necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve - Remove and Install" for the correct removal and installation procedure.

Remove and discard O-ring seal (4) from pressure sensor (2). Installation Procedure
Install a new O-ring seal (4) to the pressure sensor.
Install the primary fuel filter base inlet pressure sensor (2) to the check valve (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten pressure sensor to a torque of 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in)
