HEAD GP-CYL -UTN 20R0523 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolts (1) and (7), and remove bracket (2) from the engine.2. Remove suction bell (6) from the oil pump. Disconnect elbow (3) from the oil pump.3. Remove bolts (5) that hold the oil pan plate to the cylinder block and flywheel housing. Remove oil pan plate (4). Remove the tube assembly from the oil pan plate. The following steps are for installation of the oil pan plate.4. Install the tube assembly on the oil pan plate.5. Put a new gasket on the oil pan plate.6. Put oil pan plate (4) in position, and install bolts (5) that hold it to the cylinder block and flywheel housing.7. Connect elbow (3) to the oil pump. Install suction bell (6) to the oil pump.8. Position bracket (2), and install (1) and (7) that hold it.End By:a. install oil pan
