The earlier 4T905 and 4T1693 Universal Joint Assemblies can be distinguished from the later 4T7480 and 4T8689 Universal Joint Assemblies by the appearance of the end of the barrel end yoke, see Illustration 2. Also, the 4T905 and 4T7480 Universal Joint Assemblies have a small hole drilled through the output end yoke (see Illustration 3). The 4T1693 and 4T8689 Universal Joint Assemblies do not have a hole drilled in the output end yoke.
