If you install the new parts, use the new, easier adjustment procedure. Make a note in the Service Manual. The new procedure is (see Illustration):
Location of new parts and new adjustment procedure.1. The former collars on the hand control rods are not needed with the new lower rods. Either remove the collars or move them forward out of the way for brake operation.2. With the front of the bellcranks against the dash stops, adjust the hand control rod in or out to get the dimensions shown from the dash to the center of the handle.3. Adjust each rod until the roller just makes contact with the end of the valve stem in the control valve.*Serial Number not yet available.
