Place the ball of putty (8) on the engine end frame (4). The diameter of the ball of putty (8) should be approximately 19.0 mm (0.75 inches). The ball of putty will be squeezed between loader frame (7) and engine end frame (4). This will calibrate steering neutralizer valve (5) for the right turn.
Warm the hydraulic oil to the normal operating temperature.
Move the transmission direction and speed control lever to the NEUTRAL position. Start the engine. Raise the blade to a height of approximately 300 mm (11.8 inches).
Disengage the parking brake.
Operate the engine at high idle. Turn loader frame (7) all the way to the right.
Steer the machine so that the machine is facing straight ahead. Engage the parking brake. Lower the blade to the ground. Stop the engine.
Measure the thickness of the ball of putty (8). The putty should be pressed to a thickness of 12.7 3.0 mm (0.50 0.12 inch).
Adjust turn stop (6), as needed. Lock turn stop (6) in place with locknut (3) .Note: Adjust the turn stop in small increments. Turn the turn stop for 1/2 of a turn or less and recheck the thickness of the putty.
If necessary, repeat Steps 3 through 10 until the dimension is correct.
Repeat this procedure for steering neutralizer valve (1) and turn stop (2) for the left turn.
