( 1 ) The optional tools can be used in place of the digital pressure measurement tools which are specified in the required tool list.
Park the machine on a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.

Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Stop the engine.

Connect Tool (B) to front charge pressure tap (3). Connect Tool (B) to Tool (A) .

Start the engine. Move throttle switch (4) to the HIGH IDLE position. Engine speed should be 2225 75 rpm.

Operate the engine at high idle. Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on oil temperature gauge (5). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43° 5.6°C (110° 10°F).
With propulsion lever (1) in the NEUTRAL position and the engine at high idle, read the pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 3100 280 kPa (450 40 psi).
If the pressure is not within the specified range, go to Step 10. If the pressure is within the specified range, go to Step 16.

Move cab position switch (6) to the RIGHT position. Release the switch when the operator station reaches the right side of the machine.
Move throttle switch (4) to the LOW IDLE position. Stop the engine.
Open the right access panel in the deck of the operator platform.

Loosen the locknut on charge relief valve (7). In order to increase pressure, rotate the adjustment screw clockwise. In order to decrease pressure, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
Hold the adjustment screw in place, and tighten the locknut.
Go back to Step 6.Note: If the pressure measured in Step 8 is within the specified range, close the right access panel in the deck of the operator platform.
Stop the engine. Remove the tooling.
