Change Oil
1. Remove the power train oil drain cover and screen. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.2. Wash the cover and screen in a clean, nonflammable solvent.3. Install the screen and cover. 4. Remove the drawworks winch brake housing drain plugs, one on each housing.5. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container. Clean and install the drain plugs.6. Change the filters at this time. See Power Train Oil System in the Every 500 Service Hours or 3 Months section of this manual. 7. Remove fill tube cap.8. Add oil through the fill tube. See the Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities section of this manual. Clean and install the fill tube cap.9. Start the engine. Maintain the oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on dipstick. Stop the engine.Towing Winch (If Equipped)
Change Oil and Wash Breather
1. Remove the oil fill plug. 2. Remove the drain plug. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.3. Inspect the plug seal and replace if necessary.4. Clean and install the drain plug. 5. Fill the oil compartment until oil is visible in the sight gauge. See the Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities section of this manual.6. Clean and install the fill plug.7. With the engine running at LOW IDLE, maintain the oil level so that it is visible in the sight gauge. 8. Remove the breather on top of winch case. Wash it in clean, nonflammable solvent and install.
Change Oil
1. Remove the power train oil drain cover and screen. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.2. Wash the cover and screen in a clean, nonflammable solvent.3. Install the screen and cover. 4. Remove the drawworks winch brake housing drain plugs, one on each housing.5. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container. Clean and install the drain plugs.6. Change the filters at this time. See Power Train Oil System in the Every 500 Service Hours or 3 Months section of this manual. 7. Remove fill tube cap.8. Add oil through the fill tube. See the Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities section of this manual. Clean and install the fill tube cap.9. Start the engine. Maintain the oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on dipstick.
