Cycle Broom and machine through all modes.A. Check for binding.B. Check hydraulic hose assemblies and fittings for damage and leaks.C. Check bolts and tighten if necessary.D. Check leaf spring.E. Inspect brush protectors.F. Check Quick Coupler hooks and pin locators for damage and wear.Report any defects or installation problems to your Caterpillar dealer.Every 3 months or 250 hours
Clean grease nipple of the bar tube bearing and apply grease until fresh grease is extruded from the joint. (fig.8)When required
Regularly inspect the rigging screw. Coat the threads with grease or with a corrosion protection product when needed. (fig. 9) When the broom is not in operation, always employ the parking supports, otherwise flat spots will appear on the brushes which will spoil proper functions.
