Previously saved settings can be restored. The settings are restored by using the "Restore Settings" dialog. The settings may be restored from the following previously saved files:
Display Settings: This option restores configurable information that pertains to the Display. The information includes text items, configuration settings, and guidance settings. These files are listed as <filename>.dsp.
Machine Settings: This option restores configurable information that pertains to the machine. The information includes machine settings, machine dimensions, and sensor calibration information. These files are listed as <filename>.mch.General Notes
Display Settings File
Display settings files can be used for any machine.
When you restore the Display settings, the settings for the brightness of the Display are not changed.Machine Settings File
Ensure that you restore the correct machine settings file for your machine.
The machine settings file contains the dimensions of the machine. Use the machine settings file on the same machine that the file was created on.
When you restore the machine settings, the GPS receiver configuration settings are not changed.Restore Settings Dialog
In order to restore a Settings file, complete the following steps:
Ensure that there is a data card inserted into the AccuGrade Display. The card must contain a *.mch or a *.dsp Settings file. The card can also contain both types of files.
From any guidance screen, press the Menu key (8). The "Setup Menu - Configuration" screen appears.
Scroll to the "Restore Settings" option. Use the arrow keys (9) .
Press the OK key (10). The "Restore Settings" dialog appears. This dialog is used in order to select either "Display Settings" or "Machine Settings". Refer to Illustration 2.

Select the type of settings file that you want to restore. Use the Arrow keys (9) .
Press the OK key (10). A new window opens. The window shows all of the available configuration files for the selected file type.
Select the configuration file that you want to restore. Use the Arrow keys (9) .
Press the OK key (10). An "Updating ..." message appears during the transfer of the file. When the settings are restored, the "Restore Settings" dialog appears again.Note: If you attempt to restore an invalid configuration file, a warning message appears.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 in order to restore another Settings file.
Press the Escape key (5). The "Setup Menu – Configuration" dialog appears.
Press the Escape key (5) again. A guidance screen appears.Saving Settings
Configuration files can be saved to the data card. The files can be saved to the existing name or a new name can be provided. The "Save Settings" dialog is used to save the settings to the data card.The following configuration files can be saved to the data card by using this dialog.
