At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Before removing the filler cap, press the valve relief button on the hydraulic tank in order to relieve the tank pressure.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly in order to relieve any remaining pressure.

Hydraulic steering and brake system oil tank
(1) Tank filler cap
(2) Tank breather (reference)
Slowly loosen hydraulic oil tank filler cap (1).
Drain the hydraulic oil tank. Reference: For the correct procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil (Steering, Brake) - Change".
Disconnect the drain lines.
Remove the hydraulic tank.
Remove all of the bolts around the tank. Separate the tank.

Remove the screens. Clean the screens with a clean, nonflammable solvent. Replace the screens if the screens cannot be cleaned.
Inspect all of the O-ring seals. If a seal is damaged, replace the seal.
Replace return screens.
Bolt the hydraulic tank together.
Install the hydraulic tank.
Assemble the drain lines.
Fill the hydraulic tank. Reference: For the correct procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil (Steering, Brake) - Change".
