Warning Category 3
At this level, the indicator will come on and the horn will sound to alert the operator to take corrective action. It requires immediate shutdown of operation to prevent injury to the operator and/or severe damage to the system and/or machine. Engine Coolant Temperature (1) - This indicates overheating of the engine coolant or a system malfunction. Reduce machine operating speed and keep the engine at low idle until the engine is cooled down. If the indicator stays on several minutes after running the engine at low idle, stop the engine. Check the coolant level. Check the fan drive belts for the water pump and fan blade. Have any necessary repairs made. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Hydraulic Oil Temperature (2) - This indicates overheating of the hydraulic oil or a system malfunction. Reduce machine operating speed and keep the engine at low idle until the hydraulic oil temperature decreases to the correct level. If the indicator stays on after restarting machine operation, stop the engine. Check the hydraulic oil level. Check the oil cooler for restriction. Have any necessary repairs made. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Engine Oil Pressure - Indicates low oil pressure or a system malfunction. If the indicator comes on, stop the machine immediately. Stop the engine. Investigate the cause. Check the engine oil level and have any necessary repairs made before starting the engine again. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.Indicators
Water Spray System (1) - Indicates the water spray system is activated. Vibratory System (2) - Indicates the vibration on/off switch is in the ON position. Lights (3) (If Equipped) - Indicates the lights are ON. Directional Turn Signals (If Equipped) (4) - Indicates one of the directional turn signals is activated.Gauges
Speedometer (1) (If Equipped) - Indicates the travel speed of the machine in kilometers per hour or feet per minute. Vibration Per Minute Tachometer (2) - Indicates vibrations per minute (frequency of the vibratory drum). Drum frequency should be 2,500 vibrations per minute (vpm) while propelling. The gauge reading indicates the vpm of the drum(s) selected by the position of the vibratory mode control switch. Service Hour Meter (3) - Indicates the total number of hours the engine has operated. Use it to determine service intervals. Fuel Level (4) - Indicates the amount of diesel fuel in the fuel tank. Water Level (5) - Indicates the water level in the water spray system tanks. There is a water level gauge located on each tank.Lights Switch (If Equipped)
Rotate the switch either clockwise or counterclockwise from the OFF position to turn on the desired lights. Rotate the switch to OFF to turn the lights off.Directional Turn Signals (If Equipped)
Move the switch left to activate the left directional turn signal. Move the switch to the center position to deactivate either directional turn signal. Move the switch right to activate the right directional turn signal.Horn
