Location of the new 8W2162 Plate Assembly in the 6G8560 Operator Compartment Group.The 6G9076 Support Assembly, part of the 5T450 Fender Support Group, has been changed to provide mounting support for the new hood latch. A channel on the 6G9076 Support Assembly has been replaced with a 8W1731 Channel. Weld the new 8W1731 Channel in position on the 6G9076 Support Assembly as shown in Illustrations 4 and 5.

Illustration 5. Location of new 8W1731 Channel.The 5T198 Plate Assembly, part of the 6G5965 Hood Side Door Group, has been changed to provide clearance for the new hood latch. The length of the slot in the top of the plate assembly has been increased as shown in Illustration 6.
