Remove 276-2951 Bulk Seal and clean sealing surface of any adhesive left from the seal.
Use clean, lint free, wiping cloths or disposable wipes with a 50/50 isopropanol and water mixture to wipe the seal contact surface of the door.

Note: Avoid getting adhesive dirty.
Peel liner (2) from adhesive side (3) prior to application and start at the bottom center of the door edge. To avoid getting the adhesive dirty, you may want to peel the liner as the seal is applied. Refer to Illustration 2.

Carefully press the seal into place along the entire inside edge of the door frame. Do not stretch the seal as it is being applied. Ensure that the seal is close to the edge and corners of the door frame. Refer to Illustration 3.

With a hand roller or squeegee, apply pressure against the seal to get a good wet out of the adhesive to the surface of the door. This is a very important step in the application procedure to ensure long-term durability of the seal. Refer to Illustration 4.Note: Seals should be stored at 21 °C (70 °F). Do not apply when temperatures are below 16 °C (60 °F) nor above 38 °C (100 °F), as this may affect the performance of the adhesive.
