Description of Change: The ferrite bead is being replaced on the above listed engines. A smaller bead that is coated with heat shrink tubing retains the wires in the bead. Also, two adapters are required in order to eliminate wire abrasion on the wires at the mouth of the conduit.Adaptable To: The new ferrite bead and adapters are adaptable to the 3500 engines that are listed above. The 7X-1608 Ferrite Bead is replaced by 309-7564 Ferrite Bead. Refer to Table 1 for information on the new parts.
