Add oil to the hydraulic tank until you observe oil in the sight gauge. Use the upper sight gauge. The lower sight gauge can be used when the hoist cylinders are in the raised position.
First, check the oil level while the engine is stopped and the oil is cold.
Operate the engine at low idle. Add oil to the hydraulic tank in order to keep the level of the oil in the upper sight gauge.
Raise the dump body until the cylinders (first stage) are halfway extended. Lower the dump body and add oil, if necessary.
Raise the dump body until the cylinders (first stage) are fully extended. Lower the dump body and add oil, if necessary.
Raise the dump body until the cylinders (second stage) are halfway extended. Lower the dump body and add oil, if necessary.
Raise the dump body until the dump body is fully raised. Lower the dump body and add oil, if necessary.
Raise the dump body to the fully raised position and lower the dump body to the truck frame. Apply the brakes. Repeat this operation for three cycles. If necessary, add oil in order to maintain the proper oil level in the upper sight gauge.
