Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. Plugging hoses and tubes helps to prevent fluid loss, and helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Assemble plate (4) and two clips (3) using two bolts (15) and two washers (20) as shown.
Assemble plate (5) and two clips (3) using two bolts (14) and two washers (20) as shown in Illustration 4

Assemble plate (5) and two clips (3) using two bolts (14) and two washers (20) as shown.
Then install tube assemblies (10) and (11) as shown in Illustrations 4 and 5.

Install clip (16) on both sides using bolt (18) and hard washer (20) as shown.
Install clip assembly (9) and clamp (1) using bolt (19) and washer (17) as shown in Illustration 6.
Install support assembly (6) on both sides using bolt (21) and hard washer (20) as shown in Illustration 6.
Install tube assemblies (7) and (8) and tighten to a torque of 108 10 N m (80 7 lb ft) as shown in Illustration 6.
