Trailer Connector - A SAE seven-pin connector is mounted to the left of the left implement quick coupler valve at the rear of the machine. Use the seven-pin connector to power electrical systems on implements. Lift the cover in order to access the connector.

Use a 102-4090 Connector Plug to make the harness. A 102-4090 Connector Plug is available from any Caterpillar dealer. See the implement's operator's manual for electrical requirements for the implement.

Pin (4) is controlled by rocker switch (8). While the engine start switch key is in the ON position, press the top of the rocker switch in order to activate pin (4). Press the bottom of the rocker switch in order to deactivate the pin.Pin (7) is controlled by rocker switch (9). While the engine start switch key is in the ON position, press the top of the rocker switch in order to activate pin (7). Press the bottom of the rocker switch in order to deactivate the pin.
