Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove". The information is in this manual.
Place the radiator on suitable cribbing before disassembly.

Remove two bolts (1) and the washers that secure fan shield assembly (2) to radiator (3) . Remove fan shield assembly (2) from radiator (3) .

Remove five bolts (4) and the washers that secure relief valve (5) to radiator (3) . Remove relief valve (5) and the gasket from radiator (3) .

Attach two nylon lifting straps and a hoist to the radiator. Carefully turn over and slowly turn over the radiator. Place the radiator on suitable cribbing. Remove 31 bolts (6) and the washers that secure tank assembly (7) to channel assembly (8) .

Use a soft faced hammer to remove tank assembly (7) from radiator core assembly (9) .

Attach two nylon lifting straps and a hoist to the radiator. Carefully rotate and slowly rotate the radiator, as shown. Remove three nuts (10) that secure channel assembly (8) to tank assembly (11) .

Remove six bolts (12) and the washers that secure channel assembly (8) to tank assembly (11) . Remove channel assembly (8) from tank assembly (11) .

Remove two bolts (13) and the washers that connect core assemblies (9) . Remove core assembly (9) from tank assembly (11) . Repeat the procedure for the other nine core assemblies.

Remove ten seals (14) from tank assembly (7) . Repeat the procedure for the other tank assembly.
