Rerouting the Vent Hose for the Hydraulic Tank
The parts that are needed for rerouting the vent hose for the hydraulic tank are listed in Table 2.

Remove the hose from the left side drive chain box.
Shorten the hose in order to obtain a hose length of 90 cm (35.4 inch).

Installing the filter on the hose (1) 207-9729 Filter As (2) 5P-4961 Hose Clamp
Install the 207-9729 Filter As (1) on the end of the vent hose. Secure the filter with a 5P-4961 Hose Clamp (2) .

Repositioning the elbow
Reposition the elbow that connects the vent hose to the hydraulic tank by rotating the elbow to the rear of the machine. See Illustration 4.

Routing the vent hose behind the ground strap
Route the vent hose toward the right side of the machine. Be sure to route the vent hose behind the ground strap. See Illustration 5.

Secure the vent hose with the 8D-9671 Clip (3). Use the 8T-4121 Hard Washer (4) and the 8T-4136 Bolt (5) to install clip (3). See Illustration 6.Note: Position the 8D-9671 Clip (3) at an approximate angle of 15 degrees clockwise from vertical. See Illustration 7.

Inserting the vent hose into the "B" post
Insert the end of the vent hose into the right side "B" post of the ROPS structure. See Illustration 8.

Feeding vent hose into the "B" Post
Complete routing of the vent hose by feeding the remainder of the vent hose into the "B" post. See Illustration 9.

Completed rerouting of vent hose (3) 8D-9671 Clip
Check in order to ensure that the vent hose is free to move within the "B" post. Check that the vent hose is not pinched when the cab is lowered. If necessary, readjust the vent hose in clip (3). See Illustration 10.
