Remove the front axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive and Steering Axle (Front) - Remove".
Position the front axle in a horizontal position.

Remove ring (1) and bearing (2) .
Remove bolts (9), washers (8), plate (7), washer (6), bearing (5), and ring (3) from front axle (4) .

Use a suitable lifting device in order to reposition front axle (4) onto suitable wood blocks.

Install Tooling (A) to final drive and axle assembly (14) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A) .
Remove cotter pin (10) and nut (11) .
Install a suitable full nut in order to separate the tie rod from the steering knuckle. Remove the full nut.
Remove bolts (12), cover (13), and the shims. Repeat for the other side.
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove final drive and axle assembly (14). The weight of final drive and axle assembly (14) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb).
Repeat Steps 5 through 10 for the other side.

Attach Tooling (B) to differential assembly (15) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B) .
Remove bolts (16) .
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove differential assembly (15). The weight of differential assembly (15) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb).
