Use suitable pliers to stretch springs (25) in order to install two springs (25). Install the springs.

Use a hammer and Tooling (B) to install seal (24) (not shown) into seal housing (19) .

Use Tool (A) (not shown) to compress spring (14) .
Install spring (22) and install two retainers (21) and two retainers (23) on the tilt pilot valve.

Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Position spring housing (17), seal housing (19), and the O-ring seals for installation. Install four bolts (18) and the hard washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Install boot (20) on tilt pilot valve (8) .

Install spring (14) and install two retainers (15) on tilt pilot valve (7) .

Position spring housing (10), seal housing (12), and the O-ring seals for installation. Install four bolts (11) and the hard washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Install boot (13) on tilt pilot valve (7) .

Assemble the following components of the control valve: outlet manifold (6), lift pilot valve (7), tilt pilot valve (8), inlet manifold (9) and the O-ring seals.
Install three bolts (5) and the washers in order to assemble the control valve. Tighten the three bolts to a torque of 16 3 N m (140 25 lb in).
Install elbow (4) .

Position control valve (3) for installation. Install four bolts (2) and the washers.

Install cotter (1), the clevis pin, and the washers.
Repeat Step 49 for the remaining cotter, clevis pin, and washers.
