Never bend the eyebolts and the brackets. Only load the eyebolts and the brackets under tension. Remember that the capacity of an eyebolt is less as the angle between the supporting members and the object becomes less than 90 degrees.When it is necessary to remove a component at an angle, only use a link bracket that is properly rated for the weight.

Center-pull style hoist ring (A) Maximum Allowable Thread Depth on Hoist Ring is 27 mm (1.063 inch) (B) 48 mm (1.89 inch) (As large as possible or the ring will coin case with lift angles) (C) M16 x 2.0 or M12 x 1.75Eyebolts are not recommended for lifting this transmission. Suitable center-pull style hoist rings are recommended only for lifting angles of 60 degrees and greater from horizontal. Refer to Illustration 4.
