Removal Procedure
Note: Prior to removing any brake lines, make sure that all hydraulic pressure is displaced from the braking system. Remove the hydraulic tank cap in order to relieve all pressure in the hydraulic tank. Clearly mark all tubes and hoses before removing.
Raise the hood.

Remove the tubes and the hoses from 194-6194 Plate (A). Six hydraulic lines are secured by the plate. Remove the plate from the front bottom right hand corner of the cab. Retain the 194-6194 Plate. Retain the mounting hardware and the bulkhead fittings.
Raise the cab in order to gain access to the ATAAC tube clamps that are located under the cab.

The 194-6194 Plate (A) needs to be remachined in order to conform to 217-7744 Plate specifications. Currently, the 217-7744 Plate is not serviced. The new plate is indented on the left side as shown in Illustration 3. Use the information in Table 2 to determine the new dimensions.

Reinstall plate (A). You should use the existing hardware. Tighten two bolts (C) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Install the fittings to the plate. Tighten the bulkhead fitting nuts to a torque of 23 2 N m (17 1.5 lb ft).
Install the tubes and the hoses in the correct positions. You should tighten the hose nuts and the tube nuts to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).

Remove two bolts and washers from the right hand side of the transmission. Install new angle (2) to the right hand side of the transmission with two bolts (3) and two washers (4). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).

Install grommet (10) and clips (8) and (9). Install grommet (14) and clips (12) and (13). Position spacer (11). Install bolt (5), washer (6) and nut (7) through the clips and through spacer (11). Bolt (5) is installed through the far most hole on angle (2). Install bolt (15), hard washer (6) and nut (7) through the clips and angle (2). Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 14 lb ft).

Note: Clips (12) and (13) support the oil delivery hose for the fan pump.
Start the machine and check for leaks. Lower the cab. Close the hood.

Bolt (5) is installed through the far most hole on angle (2). Install bolt (15), hard washer (6) and nut (7) through the clips and angle (2). Tighten nuts (7) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 14 lb ft).

Start the machine and check for leaks. Lower the cab. Close the hood.
