Change TDTO Oil
1. Drain plug is located under the center of the upper structure. 2. Remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain into a container.3. Clean plug using nonflammable solution. Apply pipe sealant to plug.4. Install the plug.5. Remove the dipstick. 6. Remove fill plug.7. Add the specified quantity of oil through the fill port.See "Refill Capacities." 8. Be sure to maintain oil level between marks on dipstick.9. After cleaning the fill plug, apply sealant to the fill plug and reinstall it.10. Check the drained oil for metal chips or particles. If any, contact your Caterpillar dealer.Swing Drive-Rotating Grapple (If Equipped)
Change TDTO Oil
1. Open the grapple and lower to the level ground. 2. Remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain into a container.3. Clean plug using nonflammable solution. Apply pipe sealant to plug.4. Install the plug. 5. Remove oil check plug. 6. Remove the fill plug. Add oil to the bottom of the fill opening. See "Refill Capacities".7. Install fill plug and check plug.
