ACTION REQUIRED
Excavate and repair any cracking per the specifications listed in the section "Repairing Frame Cracks at the Cooler Mounting Blocks and Inner Left-Hand Window Plate on the Mid Frame Section" in Special Instruction REHS7995 "Procedure to Inspect and Repair the Center Section Frame on Certain 793F Off-Highway Trucks".
Update the window plate attachments, add post weld treatment, and update the auxiliary oil cooler mounting (if equipped) per the specifications listed in Special Instruction M0073048 "Procedure to Rework the Brake Oil Cooler Mounting on Certain 793F off-Highway Trucks".
Refer to Images 1 and 2 for cooler mounting block location and Image 3 for an example of a crack on the cooler mounting block at the upper rear corner.

If this letter is completed After Failure (crack initiation) an additional 13 hours of labor may be claimed to remove and install the coolers, related componentry, and repair the crack.
For After Failure repairs it is required to attach pictures showing the cracking and weld repairs to SIMSi when submitting the warranty claim.
