Air Inlet Screen
Inspect the air inlet screen for dirt and for trash.
Remove the plug in the screen. Loosen the hose clamp on the rain cap.
Remove the rain cap. Remove the screen.
Use low pressure air in order to clean debris from the screen.
Open the hood on the left side of the machine in order to access the alternator cover.

Alternator Cover
Remove the air supply line from the alternator cover. Use low pressure compressed air in order to clean any debris from the air supply line and the alternator cover.
Install the air supply line on the alternator cover.
Install the screen and the rain cap.
Install the plug in the screen.
Service the air screen only with the engine stopped. Alternator damage could result if the screen is serviced while the engine is running.
