Release all the pressure in the hydraulic system prior to disconnecting any hydraulic lines or removing any loader linkage pins. If the hydraulic oil pressure is not released completely, oil can spray out of the oil lines under high pressure. Also, there will be binding of the loader linkage pins in their bores. After removal of any pins, the loader linkage can separate suddenly. Failure to release system pressure completely can cause personal injury.
2. Lower the lift arms to the ground, and make sure all hydraulic pressure is released. 3. Disconnect two hose assemblies (1). 4. Remove the cover for access to the cylinder.5. Remove three tube assemblies (2) from the cylinder.6. Remove two dowels (3) that hold pins (4) to the cylinder rod ends. 7. Remove six bolts (5) that fasten the cylinder and bracket assembly and the plate to the coupler. 8. Remove bolts (6), and remove coupler cylinder (7) from bracket (8).Install Coupler Cylinder (Quick)
1. Make sure the surfaces between coupler cylinder (1) and bracket assembly (2) are clean and free of paint or dirt.2. Install washers and bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft). 3. Make sure the surfaces between the bracket assembly, coupler assembly (4) and plate (5) are clean and free of paint or dirt.4. Install four washers and bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).5. Install two bolts (7). 6. Slide pins (8) in position on the cylinder rod ends.7. Lubricate dowels (9) with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease, and install dowels (9).8. Install three tube assemblies (10).9. Install the cover over the cylinder, and connect the two hose assemblies.Disassemble Coupler Cylinder (Quick)
