Release all the pressure in the hydraulic system prior to disconnecting any hydraulic oil lines. If the hydraulic oil pressure is not released completely, oil can spray out of the oil lines under high pressure. Failure to release system pressure completely can cause personal injury.
1. Disconnect grease line (4), and remove the grease fitting from pin (2).2. Disconnect hose assembly (1) from steering cylinder (3).3. Remove bolt, washers, boss and nut (5). Remove pin (2) from the head end of the steering cylinder. 4. Disconnect hose assembly (6) from steering cylinder (7).5. Remove bolt, washer and boss (9). Remove pin (8) from the rod end of the steering cylinder.6. Use two people, and remove the steering cylinder from the machine. The weight of the steering cylinder is 26 kg (57 lb).7. Install the steering cylinder in the reverse order of removal.8. Make sure the two pins slide freely in the frame bores and the steering cylinders before installation.9. Lubricate the pins, cylinder bearings and the frame bores that contact the pins with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease before installation of the steering cylinder.End By:a. separate steering frame lock link
