Information:

1. Place the machine on a flat level surface.2. Release the tension on the track. For the correct procedure to manually release the track tension, refer to topic, "Track Tension Cylinder" in this module. Adjust the height of Tooling (A) so when Tooling (A) is installed under the undercarriage frame assembly of the machine, there is enough clearance provided for removal of any one of the track rollers.3. Lift the side of the machine and install Tooling (A) under the undercarriage frame assembly.
Typical Example4. Support guard assembly (1) with wood blocks. Using Tooling (B), remove bolts (2) and the washers that hold the guard assembly to the track roller frame. Remove the guard assembly. The weight of the guard assembly is 314 Kg (690 lb)
Typical Example5. Using Tooling (B), loosen, but do not remove four bolts (3) and the washers that hold track roller (4) to the track roller frame.
Typical Example6. Put the forks of a lift truck in position under track roller (4) as shown. Remove four bolts (3) and the washers. Remove track roller (4). The weight of the track roller is 345 Kg (760 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the track roller. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6396 O-ring Compound to all O-ring seals prior to installation, if applicable. 7. Using a lift truck, place the track roller on the forks so that the track roller can be positioned under the track roller frame, as shown. The weight of the track roller is 345 Kg (760 lb). Install four bolts (3) and the washers. 8. Using Tooling (B), tighten bolts (3) and the washers that attach track roller (4) to the track roller frame.9. Position guard assembly (1) to the track roller frame. The weight of the guard assembly is 314 Kg (690 lb). Using Tooling (B), install bolts (2) and the washers that hold guard assembly (1) to the track roller frame. Remove wood blocks.10. Lift the machine off of Tooling (A) and remove the Tooling (A) from under the machine. Lower the machine to the ground.11. Apply tension to the track. For the correct procedure to apply tension to the track, refer to topic, "Track Tension Cylinder" in this module.Disassemble & Assemble Track Roller
Start By:a. remove track roller1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the track roller prior to disassembly. 2. Position a suitable container under plug (1) to contain the oil for storage or disposal. Remove plug (1) and drain the oil from the track roller. The capacity of the track roller is 3 L (0.8 U.S. gal). 3. The weight of the track roller is 345 Kg (760 lb). Place the track roller in a vertical position and remove pin (2). 4. Fasten a suitable lifting sling to collar (3), as shown. Remove collar (3). 5. Remove Duo-Cone seal (4) and O-ring (5) from collar (3). 6. Remove Duo-Cone seal (6). Insert a bar through shaft (7) where the arrow is
