Right Side of Operator Seat
(1) Propel lever Propel lever (1) is located on the console to the right of the operator seat. This lever controls the hydrostatic drive system. A cable connects the propel lever to the pump controls.Note: A left propel lever is optional. This lever is mechanically linked to the right propel lever. When installed, the levers function identically to control the propel system.The machine moves forward when propel lever (1) is moved out of the center NEUTRAL position and toward the front of the machine. The machine moves backwards when the lever is moved out of the center and toward the rear of the machine. The farther the operator moves the propel lever out of the NEUTRAL position, the faster the machine travels. The machine stops when the propel lever is returned to the NEUTRAL position. This action provides the primary braking method.The reverse switch (not shown) is located in the base of propel lever (1). When the propel lever is in the REVERSE range, the reverse switch is closed. The reverse switch is open when the propel lever is in the NEUTRAL position. This switch is also open when the propel lever is in the FORWARD position. The reverse switch provides an input signal to the machine ECM. This input signal is used to determine the direction of machine travel. When the machine is traveling in reverse, the machine ECM actuates the back-up alarm.

Right Side Operator Console

(3) Parking brake switch
(4) E-stop switch Parking brake switch (3) is located on the right side of the operator console. The machine ECM directly monitors input from the parking brake switch. Parking brake switch (3) is a rocker switch with two positions. The parking brake switch is in the ON position when the right side of the switch is pushed down. The switch is in the OFF position when the left side of the switch is pushed down. The parking brake is engaged when parking brake switch (3) is in the ON position. A lamp in the switch illuminates when the switch is depressed. E-stop switch (4) is located on the operator console to the left of the steering column.E-stop switch (4) is a two-position, push-pull switch. The switch contacts are open when the knob is pulled out. The E-stop switch contacts are closed when the knob is pushed in. The E-stop switch is monitored by the machine ECM. A message on display (2) alerts the operator when the E-stop switch is actuated.

(5) Traction control switch Traction control switch (5) (if equipped) is located on the left side of the operators console. The traction control switch is a rocker switch with two positions. The switch is momentary. A lamp in the switch illuminates when traction control is on.The machine ECM uses the input from traction control switch (5) as one of the traction control parameters.
