Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Use Tool (A) and a hydraulic press to install bearing (3) to roller (4) . Install the bearing until the bearing is seated in the roller.

Use Tool (A) and a hammer to install lip seal (1) to housing (2) . Install the lip seal with the spring toward the inside of the housing.End By: Install the elevator chain roller. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Elevator Chain Roller - Install". The information is in this manual.
