Location of Slack Adjuster on ScraperThe slack adjusters function as adjustable levers that provide an easy method of adjusting the brakes in order to compensate for brake lining wear. One slack adjuster is used for the brake on each wheel. The slack adjuster rotates with the brake camshaft.
