Use a torch in order to cut a notch in the existing track for the floor rollers (1). Refer to Illustration 1 for the dimensions and the location of the notch. Use a grinder to remove debris from the area of the notch.

(2) Bar (3) Angle (W1) Tack weld in six places (C) 12.0 1.0 mm (0.50 0.04 inch)
Center one of the bars (2) that is included in the kit on the angle (3). Tack weld the bar to the angle.Note: Tack welds may be necessary in the area between the bar and the angle in the location (E) .
Position the angle and bar assembly into the notch on the track (1) for the floor rollers.Note: The angle will support the ends of the bar for proper alignment of the bar.
Use 9.5 mm (0.38 inch) material to fabricate six 50 mm (2.0 inch) by 152.5 mm (6.0 inch) metal strips (4) .

Use a straight edge to ensure that the bar is parallel with the top of the track (1). Tack weld the fabricated strips (4) to the angle (3) and to the track (1) .

Weld the bar (2) into position.
Remove the strips and the angle from the track. Grind the welded surfaces smooth.
Paint the area that has been welded in order to inhibit rust.
Repeat Step 1 through Step 8 for the other side of the scraper.
