If a testing time longer than three (3) minutes is required, rotate the drum periodically in order to lubricate the eccentric weight shaft bearings.
Disengage the vibratory function by pressing vibratory control button (6). The Vibratory System should now be "OFF".Set Minimum Frequency (VPM)
Low Amplitude, Minimum Frequency Adjustment
Set the Amplitude switch to the LOW position.
Select "Main" (17) under the "Table of Contents" on WebGPI.
Engage the vibratory function by pressing vibratory control button (6). The Vibratory System should now be "ON".
Read tooling (A) while slowly turning vibration frequency dial (8) in the counterclockwise direction. When tooling (A) displays 1400 50 VPM, record the "SetCurr in mA" value (16) on WebGPI.
Select "Output-ValveObj" (26) from the "Table of Contents" on WebGPI.
Change "Output Min" value (24) under "Reverse" column (28) with the "SetCurr in mA" value (16) recorded from Step 4.
Select the "Send" button (30) to transmit new values to the ECM.
Turn frequency control dial (8) to the Maximum position and then to the Minimum position. Verify that the Low Amplitude, Minimum frequency is within specification. Refer to table 3 for specifications. If necessary, adjust "Output Min" value (24) under "Reverse" column (28) by increments of 1 mA.Note: Higher mA values increase frequency, lower mA values decrease frequency.
Turn frequency control dial (8) from the Minimum position to the Maximum position. Verify that the Low Amplitude, Maximum frequency is within specification. Refer to table 2 for specifications. If necessary, adjust "Output Max" value (25) under "Reverse" column (28) by increments of 1 mA.Note: Verify that both the minimum and maximum frequencies are within specification
