Disassemble flushing valve (1) by using the following procedure:
Remove three O-ring seals (13) from valve body (14).
Remove lock screw (6), spring (9), and relief poppet (10) from valve body (14).
Remove O-ring seal (8) and disc (7) from lock screw (6).
Remove retaining ring (12) and orifice (11) from relief poppet (10).
Remove lock screw (3) and spring (5) from the valve body.
Remove O-ring seal (4) from lock screw (3).
Remove lock screw (19), spring (17), disc (16), and spool assembly (15) from valve body (14).
Remove O-ring seal (18) from lock screw (19).

Remove bolts (21) and remove end cover (20) from the housing.

Remove control lens (23) from end cover (20). Remove lens pin (22) from the stroking piston.

Remove plug (25) and stroking piston (24) from end cover (20). Remove the O-ring seal from plug (25).

Remove plug (29), seat (28), valve (27) and seat (26) from end cover (20). Remove O-ring seal from plug (29).

Remove plug (33), seat (32), valve (31) and seat (30) from end cover (20). Remove O-ring seal from plug (33).

Remove plug (37), seat (36), pin (35) and seat (34) from end cover (20). Remove O-ring seal from plug (37).
Illustration 9 g03026602Note: For assembly purposes, measure the distance from the end of adjustment screw (40) to housing (38) before removing the adjustment screw.
Loosen nut (39) and remove adjustment screw (40) from housing (38).

Remove O-ring seal (43) from housing (38).
Remove two dowel pins (42) from housing (38).
Remove cylinder block (41), spring (45), and spring collar (44). The spring and the spring collar will remain in the center hole of the block.

Remove O-ring seal (47) from housing (38).
Position housing (38) in a suitable press. Remove shaft assembly (46) from housing (38). In order to prevent damage to pistons (48) and shaft assembly (46), support the shaft assembly inside the housing during removal.

Remove retaining ring (49) from housing (38).

Remove shim (50) and shaft seal (51) from housing (38).
