Installation Procedure

Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch or to the controls before you service the equipment or before you repair the equipment. These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.Application Information
This is the tool control pilot lines for the stand-alone rotate kit for 321D LCR machines.Maintenance Information
Scheduled maintenance is not required for this pilot lines group. General maintenance such as replacing worn parts is necessary.Installation Advice
Review all illustrations and instructions supplied with this lines group before attempting the installation. Follow all safety practices and warnings. Refer to the service manual for your machine for port identifications.Installation Instructions
To avoid fit up problems and loss of hydraulic fluid, do not completely tighten hardware until kit is fully installed. Do not plumb into hydraulic system until fully installed if possible.

Install connectors (9) in ports (DB6) and (PB6). Install plugs (11) in ports (PB1) and (DB1). Install eight plugs (10) in the remaining ports of block (6) .

Attach support (7) to the inside of the LH frame as shown in figure 4 with washers (14) and bolts (15) .Note: Position block (6) so that ports (DB6) and (PB6) are toward the front of the machine.
Fasten block (6) to support (7) with washers (14) and bolts (16) .

Connect hose (1) to port (PB6) .
Connect the straight end of hose (5) to port (DB6) on block (6) .
Route the hoses (1) and (5) through the opening in the upper frame at the location that is shown in figure 5. The straight end of hose (5) connects to block (6) .
Place guard (8) around the hoses in order to protect the hoses from the edge in opening. Install straps (4) on guard (8) .

Disconnect the hose from port (B7) on the 176-4791 Block (Drain). Install tee (12) in port (B7) .
Reconnect the hose to tee (12). Connect hose (5) to tee (12) .

Remove the plug from port (PSA2) on the pilot manifold. Install tee (12) in the port. Connect hose (1) to tee (12) .
Install cap (13) on the tee.
Tighten all hardware and fittings to the proper specifications.
Secure all hoses with straps where necessary.
Check for leaks.
