7     347-9445     Exhaust Manifold     Apply a thin layer of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the inside diameters. Wipe off excess after installation.    
8     349-9672     Exhaust Manifold     Apply a thin layer of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter. Wipe off excess after installation.    Removal Procedure

Remove the turbocharger.
Remove the exhaust cooler.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove locknuts (2) and remove spacers (1). Discard all locknuts (2) .
Remove manifold assembly (3) .

Note: Note the orientation of the exhaust manifold sections for use in installation procedure.
Discard gaskets (5) and remove studs (4) .
Separate manifold sections (6), (7), and (8) .Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install manifold assembly (3) in reverse order.
Apply a thin coat of Tooling (A) to the outside diameter of manifold sections (6) and (8) and the inside diameters of manifold sections (7). Assemble manifold sections (6), (7), and (8), as shown.
Apply Tooling (B) on the threads of studs (4). Tighten studs (4) to a torque of 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) on the threads of the new locknuts (2) .

Torque Sequence
Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 70 5 N m (52 4 lb ft) in the above sequence.
