Place the machine on level ground, as shown. Refer to Illustration 1.

Put marks on the inner race and the outer race of the swing bearing in order to indicate the relation of the two positions.
Empty the bucket.Adjust
Start the engine and place the power mode select switch in the Mode P position.
Adjust the engine speed to HIGH IDLE by turning the engine speed dial to position 10.
Move the joystick to the RIGHT or the LEFT position and allow the upper structure to rotate for 60 seconds. Count the number of revolutions. Start the measurement after the upper structure has rotated one full revolution. Return the joystick to the NEUTRAL position at the end of the swing operation.Note: Use a point that is visible from the operator seat as a reference point to stop the rotation.Note: Repeat Step 3 in the opposite direction.
