Personal injury or death can result from a brake malfunction. Do not operate the machine if the parking brake was engaged due to a malfunction of the hydraulic oil system or the service brakes.Correct any problem before attempting to operate the machine.
Put blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels. This will prevent the machine from moving when you move the parking brake control lever to the DISENGAGED position.

Steering Frame Lock (LOCKED Position)
Move the steering frame lock to the LOCKED position, as shown.

(1) Clevis assembly (2) Pin (3) Lever
Pull down on clevis assembly (1) .
Remove the cotter pin and pin (2) in order to disconnect clevis assembly (1) from lever (3). This will disable the parking brake.
Before you operate the machine, and after the parking brake has been serviced, be sure you adjust the parking brake mechanism.Failure to do so could damage the parking brake components or prevent the parking brake from functioning correctly.
